Steel fire-resistant doors, separating productions with different fire hazard categories and production from warehouses, are fire-resistant with a fire resistance limit. Fire-resistant steel doors are certified according to EN 1634-1 and EN 1634-3 by testing prototypes, while the products that are mass-produced have CSI / CERT certificates because they correspond to the tested prototypes. The products are marked with the CE mark, which indicates products of European quality that meet EU standards. Steel fire doors retain their mechanical resistance for a certain period of time: R (resistance) – their mechanical resistance, E (emission) – do not leak combustion products and I (insulation) – insulate the room from the fire temperature. Doors EI2 60 and EI2 120 have an opinion from the Directorate of National Fire and Emergency Safety on applicability in the Republic of Bulgaria. Steel fire resistant
doors are single-leaf and double-leaf, with standard and non-standard sizes. They consist of a corner frame in which a fire-swelling gasket is built-in. The door leaf is a double-sided galvanized steel housing with a thickness of about 60 mm. (depending on the model), filled with thermal insulation material and painted in RAL color. The door hinges are adjustable, consist of three parts and inside them there is a pre-tensioned spring, guaranteeing the self-closing of the door. The doors are equipped with a fireproof lock prepared for a cartridge. The handles are made of steel with a black, non-slip PVC coating. Options are available, such as anti-panic systems, glazing, complementary frames, access control, stainless steel handles, automatic self-closing machines, wood decor and more.
